About Ourse.

Ourse is a contemporary furniture company founded in Canada. With roots grounded by the nation’s distinctive design perspectives, we are unified by a world class presentation of modern design.

Ourse pieces are boundary pushing and reflective of the diverse people, thought, landscape, and natural materials that call the North home.

Ourse’s products and our design authors reflect the eclectic and contemporary tapestry of the nation we call home.

CRAFT

Ourse’s pieces are all designed and build in Canada; many are realized mere kilometres from their design authors. Masterful hands that have perfected complex craft techniques typically reserved for custom commissions bring
their know-how to attainable furnishings for your home, hospitality, or office space.

Ourse pieces are hewn from naturally regenerative local hardwoods and finished to last with eco-friendly 0% VOC
oils. Our metalwork is coated in durable, yet vibrant powder coatings suitable for the wear and tear of a life well lived.
Our upholstered goods use world renowned Kvadrat fabrics
for a perfect blend of style and function, and they can also be covered in locally produced textiles.

DESIGN

Our roster represents some of the most sought after names in industrial design and architecture globally; and fosters exciting young tastemakers bringing forward thinking products to the world. Each Ourse piece is equally conceptual, functional, durable, and iconic.

Ourse’s products and our design authors reflect the eclectic
and contemporary tapestry of our nation.

FOUNDERS

Ourse was born from a shared vision between Jason Henderson and Jake Oliveira — two design industry veterans who asked, “Why couldn’t the next great design brand be Canadian designed and Canadian made?”

Blending Jake’s industrial design expertise, with Jason’s rich insights into architect’s and interior designer’s unmet project needs, the two have built a partnership grounded in creativity, craft, and deep industry know-how.
